PATCH 1.2b has been released! A lot of framework for the big 1.2 update. And some neat stuff.
NEW ENEMIES: Most enemies got a Level II (elite) form of themselves:
WAVEMAKER -> SHOCKMAKER: Fires 16 waves that home in on the player slightly GLEAMER -> HYPERGLEAMER: Has two orbits instead of one VANGUARD -> MAGNET GUARD: Coins in its magnetic field get stuck on it until it dies.
Additionally, the new MOVER has been added to the game as an early-midgame enemy! It picks up furniture and throws it at you.
TACKS AND CONVEYOR BELTS: Prototype environmental objects. Tacks are present in most room types, and can be safely rolled over but will hurt your footsies if you step on them. Conveyor belts are fun. They often carry tacks, furniture, and stationary ENEMIES.
Additionally, there are new WEAPONS and UPGRADES! Go check them out in-game.
BUG FIXES!!! - Construction Tables used to eject papers when they explode (weird) - Water dispensers used to linger after they exploded and still interacted with projectiles - Wavemakers used to spawn in walls (softlocking the game) - Static data was instanced as variables (which caused minor performance issues) - MISC crash-proofing
BALANCING!!! (pls stop abusing the gatling) > GATLING: DAMAGE: 3 -> 2 RELOAD TIME: 0.5 -> 1.2 > CLEANSHOT: DAMAGE: 14 -> 18 > TRIPLESHOT: DAMAGE: 3 * 3 = 9 -> 4 * 3 = 12 AMMO SPEED: 150 -> 160 > STARSHOT (REWORK): COST: 45 -> 55 MIN CHARGE TIME: 0.25 -> none DAMAGE: 10 -> 15 > LIQUIFIER: COST: 75 -> 65 > TRIPLESHOT: Ammo per Round: 3 -> 6 Indicator Change: 3 -> 1
That's about it. This is the beta leading up to 1.2! Stay tuned to see new BOSSES and ROOMS.
